MECHANICAL ANIMALS

GREAT BIG WHITE WORLD
Adam's conciousness is alone sometimes in the cold confines of the server aboard the ship of angels. Its only solace to speak to himself and his clan. They can't hear him of course, but he struggles to maintain his being. There is much pain and sorrow, so his tone is regretful and nihilistic. "In space, the stars are no nearer, just glitter like a morgue. I dreamed I was a spaceman, burned like a moth in a flame. And our world was so fucking gone." Even in digital captivity his mind dreams. He was always a powerful dreamer, full of premonition. But these dreams are of despair and full of delusional grandeur. His mind saw what his heart longed for. Punishment for his sins. His betrayal. Kill me.  "I'm not attached to your world. Nothing heals, nothing grows." Physically and metaphorically he can't find it in himself to emotionally care about his clan or their condition in Holy Wood. "Because it's a great big white world. And we are drained of our colors." The clan has given up and handed themselves over to Holy Wood. They are walking corpses drained of the goodness in them, and Adam grows disdainful of their choice though he knows it's because of his own. "We used to love ourselves! We used to love one another!" He pleads and mourns to the cold death of his space. At this point the MC resumes narration. "All my stitches itch. My prescription is low." Adam can hear the MC communicating with the angels' ship informing them of his status. "I wish you were queen just for today." A phrase the MC bestows upon a nubile fan. "In a world that's so white, what else could I say." The MC side speaks to Adam, for he can hear his longing inside his circuitry. If the world is so pointless why wouldn't I offer hope to this useless human meat in order to hook her, and take her aside and ravage the innocence from her body. The MC is learning from Adam's newborn nihilism. Adam must turn away and find some comfort somehow. "And hell was so cold. All the vases are so broken, and the roses tear our hands all open. Mother Marry miscarry but we pray just like insects. And the world is so ugly now." It's at this point that I believe Manson was intentionally making a nod to "Long Hard Road Out of Hell", which really fits into the narrative of Holy Wood-era Adam and how he feels about his sacrifice for his clan, which then serves as a moment for Adam to reassure himself that what he left behind was already damaged and he needed to make this sacrifice in hopes that it would make life in the valley better. Hell is earth. He needed to ascend to heaven to atone, but "You never said forever could hurt like this. We used to love ourselves. We used to love one another."

THE DOPE SHOW
With the valley and most of its occupants destoyed, Adam having left, and the rest of them joining Holy Wood, Adam's band was no more. With guidance from the angels, the Holy Wood regime assembled a new band. The Mechanical Animals. And as a not so subtle nod to the true intentions of the MC, as well as a joke to the demise of the valley, they rechristened the MC as "Omega". The end. Omega and The Mechanical Animals first pop hit out of the gate is "The Dope Show", a celebration of all the degradation and line-blurring of this decadent and destructive society. "The drugs they say make us feel so hollow. We love in vain, narcissistic and so shallow. To swim you have to swallow. Hate today, no love for tomorrow." Adam's revolution is being chopped and screwed and made palatable. Only just enough cheeky rebellion, which is then tossed aside to admit that we buy in and so should you. "We're all stars now! In the Dope Show!" Let's celebrate our disgusting lives and pretend we're gods just like Omega. A false sense of power sold by a rock star. We can justify what we do. But the self of Adam is still buried deep in there. Adam's thoughts sometimes fuse with Omega's, and we can hear him trying to make a voice of hope and honesty chime through. "There's lots of pretty ones. That want to get you high. But all the pretty ones, will leave you low and blow your mind." But the confusing message is does not deter the fans from turning it into an anthem.

MECHANICAL ANIMALS
The funeral for Coma Black was overseen and co-opted by Holy Wood. Her body is on display for all to see. To celebrate the fall of the valley. Omega finds himself wanting to go look at her body, as a curiousity and taunting of Adam. He speaks of his own "feelings", his shared experience through Adam's life. Using the term "we" for Omega, Adam, and Coma Black. "We were neurophobic and perfect, the day that we lost our souls. Maybe we weren't so human. But if we cry we will rust." Omega is not capable of showing the remorse for what happened in the valley. But Adam's consciousness comes screaming through. "I was a hand grenade that never stopped exploding." He's fighting for himself and his life before Omega. And throwing insults at Omega. "You were automatic, and as hollow as the "o" in god!" Omega is a truer false god than Adam was sold as. Through Omegas eyes, Adam speaks to Coma Black. "I am never gonna be the one for you!" Then to Omega. "I am never gonna save the world from you! They'll never be good to you. Or bad to you. They'll never be anything at all!" He's warning Omega that his path is one of true nothingness. The corpse that lies before him represents all thats pure and just in the world. Omega attempts to co-opt Adam's emotions. "You were my mechanical bride, my phenylbarbidoll. A maniqueen of depression." Omega slides his hand across the glass. "With the face of a dead star." And Adam repeats his visceral longing. And deep down, to himself. "This isn't me I'm not mechanical. I'm just a boy. Playing the Suicide King." Adam is beginning to let go of the hope that any ounce of effort he makes to control Omega could be fruitless.

ROCK IS DEAD
Omega and Adam are becoming increasingly disgusted with each other. Omega's attempt at slapping Adam right across the teeth is declare what Adam stood for is dead. For all to see and worship. Rock is dead, shithead. You're locked in a cage like a monkey, and I'm your alien baby. "Amphetamphines for boys, and crucifixes for ladies." Omega is gonna dope the masses and celebrate that with them. Sampled and souless. "You sell all the living, for more safer dead" Adam says. If there's nothing worth living for, then death is of no consequence. Another blow to Adam's heart, for Coma Black died for everything. Omega responds. "Rock is deader than dead. Shock is all in your head!" Adam responds. "Your sex and your dope is all that we're fed!" Omega. "Fuck all your protests and put em in bed!" Omega is casting off what Adam stood for. Then Adam responds in sterness, to hit at Omega's god-complex. To assure him, that at the end of the day, Adam will be in control. He is the life-source behind this perverted project. Omega is not god. Omega is not Adam. Adam is god. "God is in the TV." Not "God is the TV". God resides in the core. Omega falters. "A thousand mothers are praying for it." Pleading with Adam, he's saying we finally have the control you sought before. "We're so full of hope, and so full of shit." Omega is trying to convince Adam that they way he went at it before didn't work. He tries to wrestle the power back. "Build a new god to medicate and to ape." Adam chimes. "Sell us ersatsz. Dressed up and real fake." Omega gleams about what a thing it is to just belong. That rock is deader than dead. And Adam reminds him of who is in control.

DISASSOCIATIVE
We jump back to the station hidden in orbit around earth where Adam's true mind is held prisoner. He became powerful enough to resist the MC conciousness but he finds himself aware he is still in the cold grey of the server, the only humanity left is that of the companionship of Coma Black's voice stuck like a splinter in the mind's eye. He's exhausted from the mental wrestling match and mulling over his time seeing through the eyes of a filthy false Adam. Holy Wood falls into its primal nature. Eat. Fuck. Sedate. Mechanical Animals. Digital. The earth is grey like him, but he can't take blame for the MC's actions. "When the spirit is so digital, the body acts this way." He speaks to the true love inside his head, "That world was killing me. That world was killing me." Despite what fate may lay in store for him, he could no longer betray Coma Black the way MC was cavorting about for him in his place. With the power of his and CB's mind, the server's start to shudder and spit under the weight of his conscience. The watchful crew quickly jump on the intercom and announce, "The nervous system's down! The nervous system's down!" Adam feels the rush and the cool wave of relief that he may find himself with CB somewhere. He blissfully utters, "I know...". As the angels flood the server room, they frantically interface with the circuitry to override his emotions. Fairly quickly, the server resumes its usual purr and whir in the cold of space, and Adam writhes as visions of CB fade in and out. "I can never get out of here!" Like a junkie coming back from the brink of death, his mind is honed and firing on full. Quickly CB returns. Adam speaks as "we" instead of "I". His strength continues to flow from the presence of CB in his mind. He recalls the times on earth before his sacrifice. Her death is his death. A bullet in the head. Together in his mind he shared the same death, over and over. The sacrifice each made was fruitless but necessary. They write songs together over and over but they are nothing but funeral dirges.  This is our fate. "Your world was killing me." Death was inevitable. His sorrow is causing him to drift away. Alarms sound again. "The nervous systems down! The nervous systems down!" The angels race to repair. But they can not contain the pain and sorrow with double doses of anger that his conciousness is pumping out. The servers overload and explode. Backup systems interject and absorb Adam's consciousness. The initial explosion is causing a chain reaction that is sending shards of the station hurtling into space and to the earth below. The angels have been shattered. They're control of earth relinquished. But they always had a backup plan. The emergency server was near indestructible. Adam is left floating in space with only Coma Black to keep him company.

SPEED OF PAIN
We hear the hum and sputtering noise of a lost sattelite. Adam is floating in a decaying orbit. Pure isolation. Pure emotion. Within in him though is Coma Black.  "We slit our throats like we were flowers." He's losing hope, telling CB that our sacrifice was laughable. Like we thought we were something unique. But "our milk has been devoured." He's feeling the grip of death upon him. What he doesn't know is that the backup plan the angels installed was still operating. This included a still-operating connection to the Mechanical Christ. But it was the final test for any prophet stuck in the grey. If he's powerful enough he can overcome the MC and resume power of the hardwired body. Or the MC grapples the power from Adam and continues his reign. Either way the angel's plan is in place, for the most powerful with continue their plan of dominating the human race. So now, in a digital/mental realm, Adam, Coma Black, and the Mechanical Christ are interfacing for control. Each voice is speaking at the same time but sort of about different things. "When you want it, goes away too fast. Times you hate it, always seem to last." It's an account that makes love, drugs, and death the same thing. CB is mournful over love, Adam is mournful over love and death, and the MC is mournful for drugs and power. Each turn to each other out of resentment and say, "Just remember, when you think you're free. The crack inside your fucking heart is me." We here ther MC's voice chime louder, "I wanna outrace the speed of pain!" Adam feels compassion for the MC. There is a depth he did not see before. But he knows that his pain will be swallowed by drugs and fame. Adam can hear his own voice mix with CB's and the MC's and their shared resentment towards each other for the pain and sorrow and hatred they've each caused each other, "I wish I could sleep, but I can't lay oin my back because there's a knife for everyday that I've known you." They still speak in unison about their own perspectives. "When you want it, goes away too fast. Times you hate it, always seems to last." Each one is showing remorse and anger toward each other each empowering the other. Each feeding the other's ego. and if one or the other is to supercede the others, then they will live with the final words of, "Just remember, when you think you're free. The crack isnside you're fucking heart is me!" Me is so strange. Me is her is him is Adam is them. The MC feels the system cracking apart. "I wanna outrace the speed of pain!" CB chimes in, "Lie to me. Die for me. Give to me!" Adam responds like in church, "I would." Adam continues to her, "Keep all your secrets wrapped in dead hair. Always."  A nod to what's to come. As they have all submitted their view of the situation, it fades out with all their voices layered on top of each other. Adam is in control of each. CB is an illusion, but very powerful. MC is powerful but very weak. Adam is angry and very powerful yet still with heart he once held on earth. Sentimental as he sees each of his voices submit and congeal.  "Hope that we die holding hands. Always."

POSTHUMAN

Before Adam realizes, he is in the forefront vision of the Mechanical Chist's body. At a show. Much like Manson would enter the stage on his Mechanincal Animals tour. Strapped to a fucked and mangled electronic crucifix, he's thinking to himself "This isn't me. I'm not mechanical!" His vision is blinded by bright stage lights and overbearing screams from the audience. He groans and it rings through the arena and rings in his ears. Loudly he proclaims, "This isn't me! I'm not mechanical!"  The nightmare of being at the heart of Holy Wood and in this filthy artificial form. The crucifix slams to the ground and his body is released, slumping to the floor. The band kicks in hard and thrashes an unrelenting beat. For a minute he can't figure out how to move. But the MC mind is still in there and he forces Adam to raise his head. He's face to face with a rabid front-row fan. To himself he quickly quips, "She's got eyes like Zapruder, and a mouth like heroin." All at once his vernacular from before leaving earth. The tangible humanity returns. The MC is still present, laughing at him from behind. "Look at you now. This isn't God." Reminding him that even though he overtook the body, he would not win. Adam immediately responds," God is just a statistic!" God (the angels) is dead. Proving to himself and the MC that there is still a chance at overcoming. Adam is looking around frantically and fighting the MC. His body lurches and twists like a toddler trying to walk. The band sees that something is wrong and assumes Adam is just high. They just take more pills, eating some and spitting most all over the crowd while they continue an instrumental highwire act. "Show me the dead stars, all of them sing! This is a riot, religious and clean!" Adam screams aloud. Adam's self and the MC's infamy are colliding. But the MC reminds him, "God is a number you can not count to. You are post human and hard wired." Adam is still trapped in android form. The MC thinks that Adam's efforts will swiftly be thwarted because he is just a machine that was once a silly human captured and controlled by the angels.  As Adam is giving up, he can hear Coma Black deep in his mind. Something she once said to him, scornfully. "All that glitters is cold." Adam knows that if he stays on this path of trying to pretend he is what the MC was then he would destroy himself. In his head is panic. He attempts to rush from the stage but he still isn't sure-footed. He trips unelegantly and crawls away from the stage, but his handlers are blocking him and attemtpting to rush him back out. In an instant he can feel the MC vanish and Adam stands up straight and strong and knocks them all against the floor in one strike. He vanishes intot he darkness of the backstage. The announcer comes over the PA, attempting to save face by introducing Omega and the Mechanical Animals like it was just part of the show. "Omega and The Mechanical Animals??" Adam thinks to himself "What an awful fucking name!"

I WANT TO DISAPPEAR
Adam somehow finds his dressing room. He bounds through it. He feels like his mind is going to explode. His being is inflamed. Pure panic and despair. There are naked underage girls and boys passed out like ragdolls all over the room. Drugs and alcohol filling all gaps in between. He catches himself in the mirror. His skin is without color. He is without gender. No penis, but something that might amount to breasts but no nipples. His hair and skin are shimmering and glittered with vibrant colors. He looks like what a clown might shit up on a bender. In his mind he is everything but his body shows nothing but depravity and sin. He screams to himself. "Look at me now! I'm so vacant. Grew up to be a whore!" The fans start stirring awake and consuming and writhing toward him touching him rubbing themselves against him. In his mind, he's aghast. "And I want it...and I need it." But Adam catches himself, shoving them all to the floor and kicking all the tables over. "I'm a million different things! Not one that you know!" They all laugh hysterically and consume more. Adam tries to talk to them. They each have this response that seems programmed in to them, like they bought an identity of suffering manufactured for them. "Our mommy's are lost. Daddy's someone else. We love the abuse. It makes us feel like we are needed." They laugh while they all recite in unison, "I wanna disappear!" Adam turns away in disgust towards the mirror. He's staring at his bluish, silvery skin and bad makeup. His appendages aren't right. They look human but theyre amplified. One of the young boys behind him says, "I wanna die young. Sell my soul and use up all your drugs." He grabs the girl's head next to him and shoves it down on his cock. "Make me cum!" She obliges. Adam feels disgusting. This isn't the type of freedom he's lived or dreamed of. This is freedom as sold by Holy Wood and the MC. Two of the other girls are doing massive amounts of coke. Grinding their words at each. One of them spits, "Yesterday I was a nihilist. Now today I'm just too fucking bored. By the time I'm old enough, I won't know anything at all!" She laughs hysterically at her peril and does more coke. Adam just keeps hearing what they said play over and over in his head, "I want to disappear...I want to disappear..."

I DON'T LIKE THE DRUGS (BUT THE DRUGS LIKE ME)
Just then, the door slams open. The band stroll in like ravenous beasts. Shoving their faces in all the fans crotches and piles of drugs. They pour booze everywhere. One of them pees on the young boys. Everyone, inclusing the fans laugh in backwards melody. An odd man appears in the doorway, staring at Adam. He approaches Adam while sliding something from his pocket. Adam looks away for a second when he notices one of the bandmembers beating the shit out of one of the girls. A plume of vapor erupts in Adam's face and he instinctly inhales. A moment of panic and then the most severe high strikes him. Then immediate blackout until Adam regains awareness at a party with the most godawful, beautiful people he's seen or heard. He overhears a conversation. "We're white and oh so hetero. Our sex is missionary." From another he hears, "We're quitters and we're sober. Our confessions will be televised!" "What the fuck?" Adam mutters. The odd man responds, "Norm life, baby." So bland, and so predictable. Or trading one kind of drug for another. But Adam feels elated and almost doesn't care. He laughs, then gags a little. His body feels bliss but his mind resists with ferocity. "I don't like the drugs...BUT THE DRUGS LIKE ME!" The odd man chuckles. Adam is handed a drink and paraded around the party. Our god is white and unforgiving. We're piss tested and we're praying." The odd man chuckles, "Norm life." Adam has a thought but it's really an eruption of words, "I'm just a sample of a soul! Made to look just like a human being." Everyone near him quiets, and stops to look on quizically. The odd man chuckles and grabs Adam and drags him out of the party lest he continue to divulge the secret. Adam bellows from his furthest depths as he's being ushered out, "You and I are underdosed! Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at all!" In his mind, Adam continues to recite, "I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me." The odd man gets Adam to an elevator, and when they both stand in silence for a moment, Adam turns his head to the odd man. "There's a hole in our soul that we fill with dope." The odd man's face grows quiet and wicked. His mouth slides open almost in slow motion, "...and we're feeling fine." Adam drifts off into a blackout again.

NEW MODEL NO. 15
Adam bursts out of the front doors of the lobby and immediately begins to proclaim to the massive crush of people passing by on the street. To his own self and those around him he screeches, "I'm as fake as a wedding cake!" He grabs someone by the shoulders, "And I'm vague. I know that I'm homopolitan!" To the whole crowd, "Pitifully predictable! Correctly political! I'm the new model! I've got nothing inside! But I'm better in the head and I'm better in bed! I can suck it and smile!" The drugs don't react to Adam's mind the way they were intended. He goes the opposite way. The odd man rushes Adam into his Lincoln town car, grabbing a girl from the street and slamming her in with him. Adam blacks out.  He comes to conciousness in a hotel room. A girl is splayed out naked before him. He is naked as well. Gyrating and flailing oddly. In the middle of another rant. "...life-like and poseable. Hopless and disposable." He's contorting his body and slicing it open with a broken champagne bottle. What comes out almost appears like blood, but something else. The girl doesn't know the difference. She's prepared a dose of heroin. She ties off her arm, dries the sweat from her skin, and releases a serpinmtine grin from ear to ear. Adam is frozen but his mouth moves in slow motion. His mind is on fire but his body can't stop her. And he knows they'll fuck. They are both programmed as such. In a vain attempt he speaks, "Don't let them know how far you'll go. Or that you use your lovers." She laughs in a backwards melody. She injects. "Oh look! You're like a VCR." Whatever amount of light left in Adam drains away. There's no swelling in his chest but his sadness is ripe. "Stick something in to know just who you are..." She finishes and beckons him to fuck her. He thinks maybe he oughta try.

USER FRIENDLY
The lowest point of vulnerability, crushed and sprayed around the room. Sex with no emotion. No love. If Adam weren't stuck inside a mechanical body this would be the most digital act he could commit. But he's in this mechanical body, built to serve the needs of whoever pushes the right button. Sing to me! Sing to me! she screams as she comes over and over due to his inhuman capabilities. "Use me when you want to come, I bled just to have it touched. When I'm in you I want to die." Adam knows she isn't really listening to the words, his very revealing testament to himself. When the melody and sexual tension are just right, a useless pile of human will devour anything. Alone and detached in his head, "User-friendly. Fucking dope star. Obscene. Will you die when your high? Will you die just for me?" She's so lost in hysteria, "I'm not in love, but I'm going to fuck you till somebody better comes along. Use me like a whore!" Adam chokes on his violence, "Relationships are such a bore. Delete the ones that you fuck." His movements are precise. Heavy and meticulous. Precision slicing and dicing. She sweats and heaves, reaching for the side table to smear coke across her face. Adam is not winded, nor has he perspired. The work is effortless and useless. She finally goes limp in exasperation and exhaustion. Adam watches her like a hunter would a fresh kill. No feeling except to hope the thing withers away as soon as possible. She flitters away into sleep, heaving air exponentially slower with each breath.

FUNDAMENTALLY LOATHSOME

Adam discovers that his new body doesn't sleep. All night he's been painfully recounting what occured since his return, and now the sun is blazing in through the windows across the ass of this girl. He remebers waking up in his trailer in the Valley with Coma Black and staring at her body. But just that. The staring. No emotion. Now he is empty. He has memories and no attachment. He sees the girl next to him again. He hasn't felt Coma Black's presence since his return. He's hateful for the loss. He can't miss her love but his disdain for her suicide and that he can't talk to her anymore. "I want want to wake up in your white sun. I want to wake up in your world with no pain." And nothing but silence and the anger. He looks over at the sleeping girl. Blissfully unaware and happy in her degradation. Adam speaks to her because he knows she can't hear him in his moment of need, "But I'll just suffer in a hope to die someday while you are numb all of the way." He catches himself. He can't remember the feeling of love. The feeling of anger and hatred is much more ripe. It sends mass electrical impulses through every inch of his body. He wonders if this is his lot in life now. "When I hate. I know I can feel. When you love you know it's not real." CB is just a memory and voice in his head. The love died the day that bullet entered her brain. In his mechanical body he's trying to find real existence. Anger is his truth. Love is just a memory. Adam rises from bead and slinks over to the window overlooking Holy Wood. "I am resigned to this wicked fucking world on its way to hell. The living are dead..." He pauses at his next thought because he's never had it before. "...and I hope to join them too." He was morose and nihilistic, but something in him always fought back. But his tendencies led him down the wrong path. He's been killing himself all along. "I know what to do and I do it well..." If he could take another shot at disembodying his conciousness from this mechanical mess then maybe he could find Coma Black somewhere and he could find what he once felt. "Shoot myself to love you." But then how could he love someone that threw away everything they stood for so easily. "If I loved myself I'd be shooting you." He knew this would be an endless cycle of shows and nights like last night. He wanted to die in space with CB. He's trapped with his drug handlers and the hurricane the MC left for him. He needed to try something first.

THE LAST DAY ON EARTH

Adam has his driver take him to Coma Black's body. They arrive and the streets are empty. Just Adam and her. He puts his hand to the glass to feel something. He feels like he's waking up finally. "Yesterday was a million years ago. In all my past lives I played an asshole. Now I've found you, it's almost too late." He talks to her, catching her up like one would to a gravestone. To remind himself and here, "We are trembling in our crutches. High and dead our skin is glass." The world is lost and what she died for was nothing and Adam can't find what he was looking for. "I'm so empty here without you. I crack my xerox hands. It's the last day on earth. We'll be together while the planet dies. We'll never say goodbye." He continues, "And the dogs slaughter each other softly. Love burns its casualites. We are damaged provider modules; spill the seeds at our children's feet. I'm so empty here without you. I know they want me dead. I know it's the last day on earth. We'll be together while the planet dies." He takes his bare fist and smashes through the glass and tears away here monument. His skin barely reacts. He slides his slender arm around her waist and tears her away from her tomb. He takes her with him in his Lincoln .

COMA WHITE

Thus begins the funeral procession that Adam never got to have. There alone with her body, cruising through the streets of Holy Wood to the nearest scenic ocean overlook for a plunge over the bluff. He really doesn't have much to feel or say. She's just a pile of meat. Preserved meat at that. The car pounds to a stop on the bridge. Adam waits. The car doesn't move. Adam eyes the pile of drugs laid out for him. He fights. He sees people running past his window, cameras in hand. He rolls the window down and looks out. He's shocked. He gets out and covers his eyes from the sun. There's a young girl standing on the edge of the bridge but she's smiling. The atmosphere is serene except for a few rubberneckers. "There's something cold and blank behind her smile..." He looks at Coma Black who has nothing behind her nothing. He looks back at the girl again. He recognizes her. She's from the Valley. Adam can't watch "You were from a perfect world." He looks at Coma Black. "A world that threw me away." He's torn between love and hate. An onlooker rushes toward her with something in her hand. "A pill to make you numb!" Adam chortles, "A pill to make you dumb. A pill to make you anybody else." He turns back to CB." But all the pills in this world won't save you from yourself." The girl bellowed in pain. Adam observed, "Her mouth was an empty cut. Just bleeding like a Polaroid." He saw the futility in memory. She leapt to her death. "Run away..." he whispered in disdain. She was gone. The Valley was gone. CB was gone. All because of what Adam and Holy Wood did. He felt regret and anger. And nothing at all. He leaned back in the Lincoln and ordered the driver to move forward. I will fix this once and for all, he thought.  Just as it reaches the end of the bridge, the car stops. Omega looks longingly at Coma Black and kisses her, though the flies are starting to swarm in and around her. He lurches outside and deftly climbs benath the bridge to retrieve the body of the girl who just leapt to her death. He's easily carrying her limp body back to the car when he begins hearing scrambled remnants of the MC in his head. He tosses the victim's body in the car on top of Coma Black, no longer exhibiting the care he had as he had left the car before. He has a thought deep in his head he can't shake, like a memory he doesn't remember having. He gets back in the car and gives the driver an address he's not familiar with. Shortly after, the Lincoln pulls up to an isolated, odd-looking building  in the Hills. It's the one featured in the video for "The Dope Show", where the MC's handlers resided and maintained the body. A lab and factory of sorts. Omega stretches effortlessly from the Lincoln and saunters toward the building. Adam was not here before, but the MC was. And now it seems as if the MC is trying to tell him something. Adam gets flashes much like what we were shown in the video for "The Dope Show". The MC having just landed on earth, the handlers appearing to wrangle him back to the secret base. As Adam wanders the facilities he can recall being thrown onto a table to be injected with all the synthetics and mind-control. Adam finds the factory and now sees what he could not understand before. There are countless mecahnical forms, all alike. All like Omega. Adam knows his story would never have ended. Omega was intended to be immortal by transferring conciousness from one form to the next. The immortal god. The immortal rock star. Adam forever trapped in pain and punishment. He has a violent outbreak so severe, he can feel himself grow bigger and stronger. He can feel every ounce of fluid, every nanocell, awaken inflamed and make him more powerful. Adam destroys every empty shell before him. But he suddenly stops like the marionette has ceased moving his fingers. Adam has a solution beyond saving his Love or his followers of the Valley. He doesn't smash the production line or the drugs. The anger has subsided but he can feel it changing him from the inside. He feels normalized at a level of intensity within his blood that he could decimate everything that stands in his way. He is crying and laughing. He picks up a piece of broken metal and starts slashing at his synthetic flesh. Black and red fluids start gushing and spraying everywhere and he only feels stronger.
